The Morris Mini Minor
Inspired by the 1956 Suez fuel crisis, the Morris Mini Minor changed the face of economy motoring. The initial reaction was lukewarm - only 116,000 Minis were sold in 1960. But now the model is regarded as the most successful all-British car ever.

@HannahHowe Mum & Dad had a light blue one when I was very small (preserved on cine film) . The thing took us all on holiday, bundled in the back circa 4am to race along the then largely empty motorway.
It died one day as Mum went down the nearby hill and the axle broke. Luckily no injuries though she never again drove much after that incident.

I could download all The Avengers with Patrick Macnee and Diana Rigg/ Linda Thorson 3 years ago. Diana Rigg , in 1998 still voted in an AOL-poll
as only actress who could fight, and still be 100 % feminine. ( Not Lara Croft Style) . There are quite a few in Korean drama too ! ( My ongoing hype for 16 yrs)
