New #wildlife #ForestGarden project called Bedw. This video really is for the client but feel free to have a look if you like!
Whaw, that's a lovely project and a half!
Can I make a suggestion, instead of the low wall made from the random stones or gabion cages, perhaps up-ended old sleepers arranged vertically in an artistic flow all along that side?
@TangueraRhi
I was just thinking about something similar, thank you! Friend of mine makes post and rail fencing, would be ideal. Then possibly gabions to shore up the bank against the pond, and also somewhere to out concrete & create habitat. Sketching ideas tomorrow, should be fun
Oh that's clever. What sort of weeping tree will you choose I wonder?
I really love the way the post/rail leads the walker through the rose arch. I have Bathsheba climbing on one side of the arch in my garden, it's a beautiful rose, and the other side has Creme-de-la-creme, again absolutely gorgeous flowers t size of my hand.
Have fun with that project.
Today my garden project involves rebuilding the Fruit Cage which was wrecked by last month's snowfall. I'll post photos soon
@TangueraRhi the weeping tree is a crabapple that is already there, not sure which variety it is though. Bathsheba, wow! I planted a David Austen 'Generous Gardener' for a client, it is racing up the wall. Hope the Fruit Cage rebuild went well :)
