It's Thursday. What food am I preparing?
(the answer is pancakes btw. I love pancakes. They are so simple and primitive and I feel a connection to everyone for 10,000 years who's ever mixed up some crushed grains and put them on a flat hot thing)
First meal of the day: pancakes scattered with a line of dried fruit, usually currants.
I can give up eating any other cakes, pies, pastries, but I cannot give up eating pancakes.
