Here's this year's cage Mark 3, the previous two cages were wrecked by bad weather (high winds and snow). I hope this wooden one will survive longer than Mark 1 & 2. The materials costs £250ish .... that probably means I should be selling the pies not giving them away. Inside the fruit cage grow Blackcurrant, Redcurrant and Gooseberry bushes. cc @natureworks

If you have the space I would say make a cage as large as possible, as berries are so valuable to include in the diet.
