@jason123santa yes apologies, it normally gets zero hits a month ago I assume the host has degraded all the specs

@davidoclubb A cheap vps might be worth looking into. It would require manual setup but the output would be that your website should support the amount of visitors your site is getting.

@jason123santa It's on Krystal which has always been spot on for me in the past...I think it's ok again now but let me know if there are more problems!

@davidoclubb You should look into optimizing your website a bit to handle the amount of visitors your getting. With $9 a month you could go with a vps if you keep having issues but it requires you set it all up yourself. Since its just a static blog I am thinking some static site host might work the same as wordpress for you.

@jason123santa Going static is on my list but I'm running a small business, doing infrastructure stuff, two kids, lots of pro bono interests...I will get there, and thankyou, I really appreciate your thoughts!!

@davidoclubb Well I don't know much since my site does not get much visitors. But you did give me the idea of setting up a visitor counter to see how much visitors my website is getting.
