@waedele he's done it before, fingers crossed he can do it again

Commentary seems hopeful this might be Italy's best chance at finally winning a match against England (never been done)

I'm less hopeful, but we are off for the second half and Italy have a penalty with a lineout close to the England try line.

jaz :twt: :wales_flag:

England are up to four tries. Prop Stuart with an impressive carry sets up Smith to find yet more holes in the Italian defense.

And I'm typing this up, England are over again with Tom Curry and Fin converted.

In two shakes of a lamb's tail we are at 35-17.

Shock and awe.

Jamie George almost gets a lovely little try. Still, he nicely hands off to Sleightholme who pirouettes and gets it down for yet another score.

Well, it's been a stuttering, sputtering, stilted set of play for the past ten minutes. Still, room for Italy to get a point on the table, I'm sure they can beat Wales next week but it'd be nice to have the bonus point in hand.

15 minutes remain, Italy have two tries, need to find two more.

Three forward passes in a row from my angle.

Try Italy. Conversion is good. Scrappy stuff but one down, one to go.

60 seconds to go, Italy win a penalty on their own line. All hands needed to get that bonus point.

Weeeeeellll.

Scrappy lineout, ball is back and forth, England steal and diagonally slice through Italy's lines to definitively end this match with a no-nonsense try.

Fin finally misses one and it's 47-24 - England still in contention for the tournament at this point. It's France's title to lose, so we will see what next week brings. If nothing else, we have WALvENG and a last gasp chance for Wales to show some cohesion and get a win on the board.

See you next week!
