@temptoetiam@octodon.social maybe? We have some that have long tails and some that are docked, and the ones with docked tails certainly have no problem lifting them to poop.
(it may seem a bit weird to be so familiar with pooping sheep and their tails but keeping an eye on what comes out is a good indicator of their digestive health, so whenever we see a tail lifting we tend to have a look!)
@llamasoft_ox @temptoetiam@octodon.social Yes as I said "if you have a big flock you can attend/check every day" maybe docking is a necessity but NORMALLY a sheep should NEVER poop "that bad it can't keep itself clean" bad poop is an indicator of some condition. However SUPER FLUFFY tails MAY occasionally need a clean as sometime "the change in diet/grass" can lead to some time of soft poo that MAY be a problem with super fluffy tails.
