Hi Marc, I’m an #lmft and was thinking the same. Thanks for posting this! I actually created a #mentalhealth community or instance https://mentalhealth-masto.com/ just for that purpose. I don’t have any members yet but hoping it will grow. @marcmason

Can see how it might also be interesting to develop a space that is more therapeutic whilst also connected to the wider mastodon federation (with careful boundaries). A trauma-informed instance perhaps?

@marcmason ooh.. veggie too here! David Bann is the flagship one, haven’t been in years though. I always tend to go Asian food though. Amazing place called Dumplings of China in Tollcross.. Kim’s Mini Meals for Korean (although limited on veggie options).. also, Ada for great Turkish food too, amazing falafel plates and halloumi kebabs..

When you say community, you mean community of therapists on here, or community more broadly. Part of an (emerging) therapist collective here and really interested in community therapy and how the two ideas/practices can be knit together

@marcmason Hi Marc. I missed this post. It’s a really good idea. I’m a systemic and family therapist in the London area, UK. I have a particular interest in adolescent and young adult mental health, trauma-informed practice, working with people living with diagnoses of psychosis and their networks, neurodiversity and therapy, and therapy among LGBTQ+ and LGBTQ+ refugee communities. I’m enjoying Mastodon so far. Caturday just gone was great!
