This stone is a small fragment of surviving in the walled port town of .

Almost hidden in the side wall, this medieval feature was retained when this town house was rebuilt in the 1700s.

Light brown carved stone surrounding a window opening in a plastered wall that is painted green. The window is medieval, with a flat arch at the top and two projecting drip-mouldings either side of the arch head. There is a vertical iron bar in the middle of the window with three cross-pieces. There is no scale, but the whole structure is about 1m high and 0.5m wide, with the window opening itself about 0.5m by 0.2m.
