I'm not too fluent at identifying the less common ragworts but I think this is Narrow-leaved Ragwort. I'm used to seeing it on waste ground, so it was a bit of a surprise in a planted woodland area next to an ancient wood nature reserve. At Ravensroost on Friday.

A plant with lots of yellow daisy-shaped flowers. The petals are a bit longer than a normal ragwort, the leaves are quite thin and underneath the flowers the bracts are green, without black tips which lots of ragwort species have.

About
