My search for this week had a good outcome - I rarely see Goatsbeard in flower as I'm really not a morning person. But there's a population in the Brislington park & ride cark park in and I don't have any choice about going there early if I'm going to get to work on time.

A single open yellow flower with very long green sepals around it. Also several closed-up flowers where the sepals have enclosed the petals and the seeds are now forming.
