Got a new computer (Mac Studio), and taking it as an oportunity to try new tools & change up my workflow. So far:
- Arc: couldn't grok how it does tabs; abandoned
- Vivaldi: happy so far!
- Wezterm: lovely
- Amethyst: hm… giving it another couple of weeks.
- uv: amaze
- mise: don't _quite_ see the value over asdf but fine why not
- Dracula theme: not my fav but enjoy having unified colors
- Orbstack: enjoying it but expecting a rug pull
Keeping: oh-my-zsh, starship
Other suggestions welcome!
@jacob AeroSpace replaced Amethyst for me, love it! also it’s insane.
@stig I just streight up couldn't get it to work -- the key commands don't do anything, dragging windows doesn't work, etc. It looks perfect but there's some bug stopping it from working and I couldn't figure it out within a couple hours, so gave up.
@jacob Sequoia broke modifiers without Cmd- in them

@stig OMG! How did you find that out? I searched the bug tracker, looked in all the usual places, couldn't find anything so I concluded it was me and gave up.
Sure yeah I'd love to see your config if you don't mind sharing, but figuring out why it wasn't working was huge, thank you.
@jacob I work here and yelled at a cloud until the cloud spoke back
