Remembered "You Who Wronged" by Czeslaw Milosz today.
Read in #Polish in 20th century, this #poem was shockingly powerful, reminding the powers-that-be of the force of #poetry and memory.
The English #translation comes across as just as strong and indomitable - although the metre of the original is more enthralling to me, like a bitter #poet chanting his malediction.
And, of course, the sentiment of bearing witness to those in power who wronged others... welp.
