📷 Lost places of #Ireland on 35mm and medium format film 🎞️

Analogue photography moves to a slower beat than digital; its ephemeral nature feels a perfect fit to capture the fragile beauty of abandoned places.

This week is Ireland National Heritage week, and I will be sharing photos and stories from my adventures exploring the country’s disappearing heritage.

Croome Court in Worcestershire is a National Trust property close to where I live. It is one of my favorite spots for a stroll and some photography. This is a shot of the Rotunda at Croome Court.

The Rotunda at Croome Court is an 18th-century garden building designed by 'Capability' Brown in the 1760s, located in the Home Shrubbery area of Croome Park. This Grade I listed structure was the 6th Earl of Coventry's favourite spot for enjoying the grounds and offers fine views, and it features a plain exterior with a richly decorated interior. It served as a summer apartment and is now part of the Nation Trust property, which visitors can enjoy.

I was walking through Pittville Park in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, when I bumped into a lady carrying her pet cat on her back in a kind of pet backpack. This was something I had never seen before, so I asked if I could take a photograph of them both. She kindly agreed.
