Looking for a book recommendation. Something light, probably adventurous and funny, for evening reading.

I was enjoying hpmor, Metro 2033 and S-T-I-K-S Universe, LOTR, litrpg, cozy zombie and postapoc lately, but it's just for the reference, I'm quite open for exploration.

Does anyone know of a reliable website for laptop batteries? My laptop is only a few years old, but the battery only lasts about 2 hours. When I tried to figure out what battery to get, there were a lot of websites and all of them looked potentially cheap or shady. Plus there's the issue of places not shipping to USA now let me know if there are any hashtags where people might know this too

Seen on Peacemaker's credits. Does anyone know what a "lidar tech" does on a TV show? My first and only guess is that they use lidar to focus the cameras, but don't digital cameras do that more or less automatically? And does this mean that "focus puller" isn't a job anymore?

At least for my first round of demos or until I can fix my guitar and get my computer to listen to it, I think I'm just gonna use MIDI does anyone know of tricks I can use in Ardour to make the MIDI sound like a guitar would if I was muting the strings with my palm? I could just change the volume for a similar effect, but it won't sound quite the same yk?

At home, I use Domoticz/Dashticz to view those logs. But is there an easy Android solution available that doesn’t require a extra Raspberry Pi at my mom's house?

Is there such an app? Ideally with alerts?
