Hi. This blog mostly features my adorable cats, Joey and Sheena. Thank you for occasionally indulging me when I post non-feline things.

I just published my novel, Water Dogs. It's the best book about midwestern teens from the 1970s discovering punk rock and saving the universe that I've ever written. Please buy lots of copies from Barnes & Noble (or Amazon).

I didn’t realize quite how many Classic Doctor Who stories the BBC has put on YouTube. Here’s the Patrick Troughton playlist. Not quite half of what there could be, but still, it’s something. I’ve been wanting to rewatch the Mind Robbers, one of my favorites. Probably because it’s one of the more experimental there stories.

I realized that when I first watched Classic Doctor Who from beginning to end, there were only 6 complete 2nd Doctor stories to watch. In the ~20 years since, between animated reconstructions and recovered footage, there are now 12 more complete watchable stories. That’s kinda incredible.

So cool that #DoctorWho had an episode with the Concord! ...in this case it was the Master's Tardis. So freaking cool. I hoped to ride on a Concord one day but alas it was not to be. It must've been something. I loved hearing the boom.
