On Durham's riverside beneath Framwellgate Bridge is 'Heron', a sculpture by artist/sculptor Jon Voss.
Born in Devon, but now living in France, this installation by Voss originally featured in the city's Lumiere 2017 event, but was retained and given a permanent location.
I am probably not the only one who has passed by and admired the graceful work in daylight, not realising how it looks after dark (I only later learned that it had been part of the Lumiere event).
