Fish Id Wardrobe<p>My family – and I, I suppose – are fans of The <a href="https://mastodon.me.uk/tags/GreatBritishSewingBee" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GreatBritishSewingBee</span></a>. It's a very sweet little program and in this house we're all makers, in a small way. My wife's costume skills are to be reckoned with.</p><p>But I do wish they wouldn't refer to the contestants as "sewers".</p><p>&gt; This week, the Sewers face three challenges inspired by travel.</p><p>Invasive Japanese knotweed in the gratings? An outbreak of Delhi Belly? Adopted Geordie<p>*I still really enjoy it, I just don’t understand how they can make some of the garments they do in the time. I did one of my quickest ‘cut to finished’ sews to date (a knit jumper from a T-shirt pattern) and it was still a morning’s work.</p><p>Admittedly rethreading my overlocker took some time after the lower looper thread snapped. 😂 Although you never see that on <a href="https://mas.to/tags/GBSB" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GBSB</span></a> though. 🤣</p>
