testing these newfangled hashtags. Findings: if they're:

* all on one line
* with two returns before them
* and no text under them
* and no line breaks between them

...then they get the special treatment, but if any of the above are not true, then it breaks and they appear old-style. But if there are #inline ones, then the bottom ones still work as long as those bottom ones follow all the rules.

I've been tinkering with part of my #Transformers website, trying to modernize the page design, and just spent a few hours attempting to understand #inline-block elements and #vertical-align. The tutorials I could find were not specific enough for me and I eventually made this jsfiddle to help me suss it out:

*None* of the options will actually vertically align the center of your inline-block element with the center of its parent!

@whatshisays @liztai It reminds me of when I worked in retail and it was impossible to get anything right. If I offered customers a bag they would get upset that I'd offer them a bag. If I didn't offer them a bag they would get upset that I didn't offer them a bag.

On this network I've seen people say they prefer #inline #hashtags, and other people say they prefer hashtags to be grouped at the end. Just like when I worked in retail I've chosen to do what suits me and ignore the complaints.
