During one spring day, I enjoyed the beautiful and gentle embrace of Mother Nature’s sycamore maple leaves on one of the trees I discovered on my travels.

Improvement to the drawing
Although I've always loved the beautiful foliage of #JapaneseBarberry shrubs, we've avoided adding any to our own gardens. They're highly invasive if not heavily controlled. Japanese barberry provides prime environments for #ticks to breed due to the high humidity in barberry's dense foliage. It's believed that spread of barberry is correlated with the spread of #LymeDisease.
I really wish stores/nurseries that sell plants would inform customers on problematic ones so folks can make more informed decisions. Many uninformed customers often buy Japanese barberry shrubs because they're deer resistant & visually appealing. I suggest avoiding it. It's been banned for sale in some USA states.
Just admire the shrubs in public cultivated gardens - don't grow them.
