ResearchBuzz: Firehose<p>World Association of News Publishers: Amedia grants 400,000 young people free access to its newspapers. “Amedia will offering everyone between the ages of 15 and 20 free digital access to its more than 100 newspapers, ahead of the September 8 parliamentary election. I know there are plenty I've forgotten, and I'm consciously leaving out student newspapers, specialist and religious papers, and hyperlocal zines (or my brain falls apart). Vivienne Dunstan<p>Finished typing up all 274 newspaper references I found to a German accordion player, travelling around Scotland between 1852 and 1903, giving performances, and offering local tuning and repair services for accordions and related instruments. He was still travelling in the north of Scotland just a few months before he died in 1903. Next step: analyse the data and write it up as an academic journal paper.
