Those of us in the know prefer to hunt for Slender Thistle, which seems to like it there. Peter Sketch<p>I went to <a href="https://toot.wales/tags/Sussex" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Sussex</span></a> bird-watching and to see coastal plants, so I called in at <a href="https://toot.wales/tags/RSPB" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>RSPB</span></a> <a href="https://toot.wales/tags/PaghamHarbour" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>PaghamHarbour</span></a> because they have Slender Thistle growing around their car park. I was a bit late - this one plant in a shady spot was the only one still flowering.
