around here, the “desirable” pups disappear after being listed (in the two hours before the shelter opens to the general public)

the ‘foster’ people who resell #PoundPuppies a few weeks later, are in cahoots with shelters — technically they merely charge FEES of around $200 for their services of determining what kind of household will be best for the dogs … those with no cats, or without children, other dogs, etc.

* for this pseudo-fostering, regular pound fees are waived
