🏴Stuart Bain<p>In 1499 the infamous Breton Pirate, Colyn Dolphyn kidnapped Edward Stradlings family who were on there way back from North Devon by boat. There were held hostage for two years until Stradling paid the ransom. One stormy night a few years later Stradling captured Dolphyn after his pirate ship got into difficulties. As punishment he was buried up to his neck and forced to face the incoming tide, just in front of what is now named Colyn Dolphyn’s cave. <a href="https://toot.wales/tags/TresillianBay" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>TresillianBay</span></a> <a href="https://toot.wales/tags/Stradling" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Stradling</span></a> <a href="https://toot.wales/tags/Pirates" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Pirates</span></a> <a href="https://toot.wales/tags/StDonats" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>StDonats</span></a></p>
