I need some help getting more out of #Mastodon. I always use X/Twitter and, in comparison, this place is as dull as dishwater (the Fediverse, not this Instance in particular). I want to like this place more than X but there just seems to be very little going on.

Afallen Partner David Clubb has been a moderator on Toot.Wales, the Welsh instance of Mastodon, since 2018, and is now on the governing body.
Toot.Wales is nearly five years old, and David recently gave an interview to S4C about his experiences with the platform – and why it’s been growing so quickly over the last year.

I don’t have the time, although that’s all changing. #TootWales came along at just the right time for me, since I am going to be more free come the new year! I am so lucky to have found this community! I have learned Spanish, German, French, Persian, and the rudiments of Arabic and Portuguese, but don’t speak any of them.
