Palestine Action ban: police not happy
Palestine Action ban: police not happy
Really well-explained post on the dystopia of being trans under UK laws, from @goatsarah:

Ironically, if too many of those charged with support for #palestine action go to #ukcourts that could be the biggest problem for the UKGovernment
If a lot of them inhabit a grey area, take ages to resolve legally, and too many of the #jury verdicts are not guilty that would be a disaster for the UK legal system and the police.
If, down the line, this law was reversed, but not retrospectively, that would be the worst case scenario.
There's no way this bill won't break trust in the justice system.

Just bought a pair of kids trainers for our great-grandchild from Next, there is a tag on the footwear that says "No return if removed"
I wonder if this is legal according to UK consumer laws?

Presumably there is a sliver of legality where one can protest the ban on Palestine Action without expressing support for Palestine Action. #uk #uklaw #PalestineAction

Police, allotments
I have a question for the great UK legal minds of the Fediverse...
Does Yammer count as a regulated user-to-user service under the Online Safety Act?
The 'provider' of Yammer in my mind is Microsoft, which means it doesn't appear to be exempt as an 'internal service' under Schedule 1. Am I interpreting that wrong, or is this a potential risk for pretty much all users of O365 in the UK now?
