Liza Donnelly, Aug 26, 2025 Today is the anniversary of the Nineteenth Amendment, when the US passed a law prohibiting states from denying women the right to vote. It took decades of struggle for women— and male advocates— to gain suffrage. Our rights are again under seige from members of the Trump administration, it’s frightening.
