Have you used a Hello Bench?
I noticed a Hello Bench at a local nature area near where I live. HelloBench are a Woodley and Wokingham community initiative designed to promote human connection and eliminate loneliness.
It seems like a kind idea to get people chatting and connecting.

We were treated to some gingerbread biscuits from 7yo daughter of Andy, a #Woodley Business Club committee member.
We met her at the University of Reading Community Festival earlier in the year, they were helping out with the charity stall right next to us. She was an absolute delight because she saw my my jumper that said “kindness matters” and came up to me and said, “we talk about kindness at my school.”
She was absolutely brilliant and is clearly an absolutely #kindness superstar!

Another #parkrun completed. That's 163 times around the 3-lap course at #Woodley, a fair few wet and muddy like today's run. I am happy with today's time of 32:32 as I wasn't really "feeling it" and had a twinge in my back between my shoulders. Feeling much better now that I've run. #FetchEveryone #LoveParkrun #Suunto #Running
