Yr Afon Idwal (Idwal River). The river flowing fast from the melting snow further up in the mountains around Cwm Idwal.

When I've taken photography workshops out into the landscape I love bringing people here as the natural composition is so satisfying and the water is always fun to photograph. And it's not too far from the car!


The Idwal River in Eryri flows fast, filled with melting winter snow. A long exposure smooths out the water around the rocks. The tree above is bare.
