I received an email from SSA.gov for the first time ever, claiming the spending bill ‘ensures that nearly 90% of Social Security beneficiaries will no longer pay federal income taxes on their benefits.’

Aside from this being absolutely false, I’m now certain our personal data has been breached - via @falrising.bsky.social‬

Last but not least, a special #FourthOfJuly acknowledgement. We have many #AfroIndigenous relatives, we have not lived the culture. But we would literally not exist if it were not for our #African ancestors & we are extremely grateful for their existence & what they went through for us.
