The sweet peppers and jalapenos are getting planted today. I was originally planning for 6 in each bed but I also left the jalapenos out of the plan. They're all getting planted. 8 Red Marconi in the North bed and 5 California Wonder Bell plus 4 Jalapeno Very Hot.

The nearest pepper plant is one that was dug up last fall and overwintered indoors under grow lights. It has many small peppers on it.

I thought I saw a ghost pepper forming, there are lots of blossoms, but there was only one pepper, 3 years ago, and I left town, my neighbor is still alive, so they must not have eaten it. Anyway, I can't find it, I assumed it was called ghost because it would give you some temporary out of body experience, but maybe it's the one that ghosts 😆 Just as well, I have a bad tendency to just pop a pepper in my mouth and see what happens, I'm not sure what I would even do with one 🔥🚒👨‍🚒

Meanwhile the Thai chili has borne fruit all winter long, I'm putting it back outside tomorrow. 🌶🌶🌶 just ate one.

High time for the #chili plants to move outside. These are:
* 3 Habaneros
* 2 Jalapenos
* 2 Pepperoncini Etna
* 2 Diavolicchia Calabrese
* 2 Diavolicchia Diamante

That's 11 in total. Now I need to find more space for the 26 remaining ones, or give them away to friends and colleagues.

#Zwiebeln anbraten. #Knoblauch #Kreuzkümmel #Chili #Curry #Tomatenmark, etwas später eingeweichte #Mungobohnen + Wasser zugeben + kochen.
#Spinat Zucker SalzPfeffer zugeben, weiter kochen, bis es etwas eindickt. #Tamarinde.nmark unterrühren.

Knoblauch Scheiben in #Olivenöl cross braten, Chili.flocken + #Curcuma zugeben.

Mit #Zitronensaft beträufeln + mit #Basilikum #Petersilie #Joghurt + Knoblauch.scheiben garnieren.

#Butternusskürbis im Ofen backen, #Zwiebeln anbraten, #Knoblauch #Ingwer #Chili, später #Tomaten #GaramMasala zugeben - etwas garen.
Die Zwiebeln mit dem #Kürbis Limettensaft + SalzPfeffer grob zerstampfen.
#Olivenöl mit #CurryBlätter.n + Kreuzkümmel erhitzen, bis die Blätter glasig werden.
Die Hälfte des Öls unter den #Kürbisstampf mischen, den Rest zum Servieren mit den Blättern darüber geben.

In einer Schüssel Kürbiswürfel + Gewürzmischung + ein Spiralstampfer
Auf einer Servierplatte der fertige Stampf mit gerösteten Curry-Blättern, daneben Mungobohnen mit Spinat, Joghurt und Petersilienblättern

There are monsters around! With my luck re pests in my plant nursery this year (still fighting the fungus gnats infestation with SP nematodes, sea algae soaks, fans, UV "mosquito lamp" and lots and lots of sticky tape) this #CraneFly is most likely one of the #Tipulidae that are considered pests in Europe (is it Tipula paludosa?) as their larvae attack seedling roots and stems. Which is exactly what fungus gnat larvae were doing already so... [insert random profanities].

About photos, pardon the odd colours as this crane fly thought to rest under my full-spectrum LEDs on a chili plant and it's being illuminated by, well, all colours of the rainbow really.
