Just back from a favourite walk on the cliffs with dog and J. Nice day today, so it was actually busy up on the coast path... saw a whole three other couples!
Skylarks, kestrel, stonechats and whitethroat on land. Seals, oystercatcher, guillemots and a variety of gulls on the cliffs and sea. No peregrine sighting today... can normally find a peregrine up there, and I know where the nesting sites normally are, but none today.
I saw the otter on the River Camel in Wadebridge #Cornwall again last night at about half an hour before sunset.
Come to Cornwall for the lovely sea views, stay for the slurry lagoon:

I'm sure this will be totally okay for the folks who live nearby!
The sun sets over the Atlantic Ocean, viewed from the west coast of Cornwall.

Looking at the sun through a relatively high-stop HD filter. Apologies for getting all technical, I'll be back to being puerile tomorrow.
