It’s been a minute.. sometimes the me/cfs & long covid stuff is consuming all my energy. When I’m suddenly able to draw again it feels like a luxury and the joy is perhaps greater than it was when I took it for granted. It is a truth I have come to know intimately, that when you lose something is when you truly see it. The absence is not only filled with grief, but a certain kind of beautiful and absolute clarity.
