Je to téměř měsíc, co Amerikou a Izraelem podporovaná #Gaza Humanitarian Foundation převzala kontrolu nad distribucí humanitární pomoci na území Gazy. Od té doby došlo k mnoha incidentům při nichž byli zabiti civilisté snažící se získat humanitární pomoc. Ministerstvo zdravotnictví v Gaze, které řídí hnutí #Hamás, uvádí, že od konce května izraelské jednotky zabily nejméně 549 Palestinců čekajících na pomoc a více než 4000 jich bylo zraněno

The thing I really despise about new Global and local affairs, is often those who need to share the truth the most, remain silent, take this Iran #nuclear headache, #America drops bombs on their facilities and the president passionately claims total destruction, yet we have no verifiable proof as Iran refuses to actually report to the world live from these sites to say yes it is a total loss or you failed our facilities are safe and operational or even some damage has occurred and we need to assess and rebuild, you have 2 sides, but one side is pushing victory over fractional intel, even if some of that came from operators on the ground, maybe they are reporting under duress, maybe they are helping to force a narrative, maybe they are telling the absolute truth, but without Iran actually providing any factual verifiable proof, we are basically listening to a fairy tale and taking it for gospel, and that is all over the world, #Russia and #Ukraine, so many inconsistencies are reported you really have only the idea that people are killing people, same with #Israel, they attacked #Palestine on the premise #Hamas started an attack on Israel, but that narrative has lead to the death far too many innocent people as Israel pushes deeper into their land grab for #Gaza. All these world issues and many I have not even listed, are reported in fashion to create and push narrative instead of reporting factual truth, I feel #journalism has really failed the victims of the world's folly and when it comes to larger #news outlets it is nothing more than a ratings chase and sensationalism game for them, id love to turn on the new and actually get 100% unbiased truthful news, when you ask person one a question and it involves others I want you to ask them as well, and dont publish before you have them, I want the whole unbiased truth, I really am sick of trying to learn about the world around me through a filter that is being forced based on who is paying for or getting payed by the narrative.

Sebbene sia vietato dalla procedura, il deputato Avichay Buaron (Likud) ha allegato alla mozione anche le parole pronunciate da Odeh durante una manifestazione contro la guerra qualche settimana fa, che includevano l'affermazione “Gaza ha vinto, Gaza vincerà”.

Diversamente dal pensiero della maggior parte degli ebrei, per Odeh e i suoi colleghi di partito, #Hamas e Gaza non sono la stessa cosa, ma completamente opposti.
Ma nell'attuale Knesset, una dichiarazione che menzioni anche la parte palestinese equivale a un tradimento.

12 Tage, die den Israelis den Krieg nach Hause gebracht haben

Die iranischen Raketen haben bei vielen Israelis zum ersten Mal existenzielle Angst ausgelöst. Selbst wenn der #Waffenstillstand hält, wird ihr erschüttertes Gefühl der Sicherheit noch lange anhalten. In den letzten 12 Tagen habe ich die täglichen Szenen der iranischen #Raketenangriffe in Israel dokumentiert, die meist nachts stattfanden. An einigen Orten kam ich nur wenige Minuten nach dem Einschlag an, als die Brände noch brannten und die Verletzten aus den Trümmern geborgen wurden.Die Ankunft in der Dunkelheit ist immer trügerisch – man sieht nicht viel außer Krankenwagen und Feuerwehrautos. Nach und nach, mit den ersten Lichtstrahlen des Tages, offenbart sich das wahre Ausmaß der Katastrophe: wie viele Häuser, Fahrzeuge und Fenster beschädigt wurden, in welchem Umkreis und ob noch Menschen unter den Trümmern begraben sind. Stunden nach dem Einschlag kehren die Bewohner zurück, um zu versuchen, einige ihrer Habseligkeiten zu retten, während Nachbarn und Schaulustige eintreffen, um sich die Schäden anzusehen.An dem tödlichen Unglücksort in Bat Yam, wo neun Menschen ums Leben kamen, arbeiteten Rettungskräfte tagelang daran, die Trümmer zu beseitigen und alle Leichen zu bergen. Die eingestürzten Gebäude, die klaffenden Krater, die mit Asche bedeckten Bäume und Autos und die Menschen, die in Pyjamas mit ihren Kindern und Habseligkeiten in den Armen flohen, erinnern unheimlich an die Bilder, die die Israelis in den letzten zwei Jahren aus #Gaza gesehen haben – trotz der Selbstzensur der Medien.

Anders als bei früheren Schießereien oder Raketenangriffen in #Israel, wo oft „Tod den Arabern“ zu hören war, habe ich keine Rufe nach Rache oder „Tod den Iranern“ gehört. Vielleicht liegt es am Schock, vielleicht an Israels Rolle als #Kriegsinitiator oder vielleicht an einer tieferen Einsicht in die Grenzen der israelischen Macht. Schließlich ist dies Israels erster Krieg gegen einen souveränen Staat seit 1973 und der erste, den es seit 1967 gegen einen Staat begonnen hat.

Seit dem Morgen des 24. Juni herrscht eine fragile Waffenruhe – allerdings nicht bevor eine iranische Rakete ein Wohnhaus in der südisraelischen Stadt Be'er Sheva getroffen und vier Menschen getötet hat. Unabhängig davon, ob die #Waffenruhe hält, kann Premierminister Benjamin #Netanjahu bereits einen großen Erfolg für sich verbuchen: Er hat das Gefühl der Unantastbarkeit der Israelis erschüttert.

Dieser Krieg, der mindestens 28 Menschen in Israel das Leben gekostet hat, hat Zehntausende, wenn nicht Hunderttausende Israelis, vor allem in Tel Aviv und den umliegenden Vororten, in echte Angst um ihr Leben versetzt. Für einige von ihnen ist es das erste Mal.

Angst hat das Leben in Israel schon immer begleitet – sei es durch Schießereien und Messerstechereien, Intifadas oder „Runden“ von Kämpfen mit der #Hamas und der #Hisbollah. Aber dieses Mal fühlt es sich anders an. Es ist nicht nur existenzielle Angst, sondern eine unmittelbare, persönliche Angst, vor allem im Zentrum des Landes. Die Menschen spüren den Tod in ihrer Nähe, in den Geräuschen explodierender #Raketen und dem Ausmaß der Zerstörung, die nicht abgefangene Angriffe hinterlassen.

Was bisher verdrängt oder durch eine Art Routine bewältigt werden konnte, muss nun direkt angegangen werden. Die Tötungen, die Zerstörung von Häusern und die Unterbrechung des Alltagslebens lassen nur einen Schluss zu: Die Politik Israels macht das Land für seine eigene Bevölkerung unbewohnbar.
