If #Apple were to make a 5K/120 hz/12-bit Studio Display I would spend too much money on it
@rl_dane @OS1337 as of #eInk there are already some companies producing eInk #Monitors (at a hefty premium!) so if you (like @TechConnectify want to reduce Eye Strain to be as low as printed paper, then I guess it's worth the "low" 4-digit price for a 15"-24" #eInkMonitor…

When looking for a new TV or monitor for my desktop I've found RTINGS to be helpful for understanding how well they'll render readable text
Check the Text Clarity ratings down the page

Big difference between the 57" and the 49"
There have a vertical linearity issue on this CRT I picked up last weekend. It's a Magnavox "Computer Monitor 80" with no model # on the case anywhere, but I believe it's a Philips BM7500-series, or so.
(See the bottom 3-4 lines of text vs the rest of the text on screen - vertically squished.)
Here is the service manual as close as could be found,

Can anyone tell from the schematic if there is a V.LIN pot on the board somewhere that I would find upon opening the unit? I'd like to get it adjusted and use it.
If it's a caps issue, I wonder how many would need to be replaced to get it back to snuff? This display was manufactured in late 1986.

The 27" QHD Philips 275E1S monitor apparently can sync to 15kHz RGB on its VGA input. This may interest some folks out there.
Best aspect ratio:

I bought the requisite switchbox about 13 years ago, and finally today found and ordered a clean looking SM124 paper-white monochrome CRT monitor for the Atari 520ST, from eBay. (Shipping in original box with original foam, so it seems possible it will survive the trip across the U.S.) (Knock on wood)
It looks like there's JUST enough room atop this A520 STation to fit them both, if I move the HxX2001 into one of the (disconnected) drives' spots in the stand.
I had both an SC1224 and an SM124 on my original 520ST setup back in 1987.
Will post some pics when it's all setup.
Here’s Everything You Can Do With the Ports on Your Monitor
There is more to life than just HDMI, that’s for sure. It is well worth reading this linked article before buying any new monitor or graphics card.
Something interesting I learnt is that with DisplayPort there is the possibility of MST or Multi-S ...continues
