Got an unintended glaze effect on another pendant which looked a bit like a fetus inside a womb or egg. So I wanted to make one like that. The glaze of course didn't look the same here, but it's a first try. You never know with glazes. They live their own lives. Rebellious things. Like cats - who are also fancy liquids in warmth.

Now I want to make more pendants with little alien fetuses in them. With different variations. Unborn life. Balances out the skull pendants I make too, to some extent.

I've now made five of these simple, ceramic fish pendants and I love the fins on this one. The combo of overlapping glazes and the engobe underneath worked really well!

Also, I wish pixelfed showed a bigger thumbnail or the pic I'm uploading when I write the alt text. Or this text too actually. Right now I keep the image open in a different window as well, to see what I'm writing about, you know.
There are over all several things I wish were slightly different with pixelfed, but we'll see what happens.
