I've uploaded the Neo Geo port of Jurl, there are quite a few issues to resolve but it is playable - at least in GNGEO, i've had slightly less success in Mame. As always it's pay what you want and free is a valid option tonsomo.itch.io/jurl-neo-geo-e #indiedev #retrodev #retrogaming

itch.ioJurl: Neo Geo Edition by Tonsomo EntertainmentAsteroids meets Pacman game where you have to collect all the space diamonds whilst avoiding the various aliens.

i noticed that John Broomhall's exceptionally creepy X-COM UFO Defense soundtrack for the (surprisingly good) PSX port didn't have a lossless version available anywhere.

that has been now rectified:

extended digipres info for anyone interested:
weirdly, binchunker couldn't extract the redbook audio tracks from the PSX cd (even in psx mode), and every track had to be manually imported into audacity as raw audio. if anyone has to do this again, the correct settings for import are: Signed 16-bit PCM/Stereo/Little-Endian/44100hz

*Yes, this is the first time I've been online all day - sorry for the storm of posts*

So I finished #DeepDuckTrouble. It only took the best part of 30 years from start to finish. Once you're playing with a big-boy-brain (and the ability to save-states) however you can get through it in less than an hour.

It's got random slow downs, the platforming feels sluggish and imprecise and half the time the hit-boxes felt wrong, but the animation and sprite work is delightful, and it's got a very catchy song that plays during boss sections.

All in all, I'm glad I went back to this.
