I've almost finished my first notebook for practising #shavian, and I think next I want to start a mini-site for transliterations of poems and prose excerpts (short, say <500 words). I'd like to have a bit of fun with styling, and I'd also like people to be able to subscribe through ActivityPub.

What's the right tool to use for this?

Extra challenge: I don't know how to self-host. I know how to install something in a VM terminal, but I don't understand how that becomes a website.

I’m training up some machine learning models to 'disambiguate homographs' (aka heteronyms, or words with identical Latin alphabet spellings but different pronunciations like ‘bow/bow’, ‘tear/tear’). This will help solve one of the more annoying aspects of auto transliteration into #Shavian. It is both very exciting and intensely boring, since I’m having to make the data sets. Hard to believe there is almost no publicly available training data for this. #𐑖𐑱𐑝𐑾𐑯

𐑣𐑧𐑤𐑴 𐑢𐑻𐑤𐑛! — I’ve enjoyed learning the #Shavian #alphabet for English over the past three evenings. Next challenge is to read Bernard #Shaw’s book “Androcles & The Lion” in his alphabet. Interesting backstory too.
