Antelope Canyon - Visions of the Elders - This is a digitally processed image where I imagined the ancient Navajo Elders on a dream quest in these canyons with the light beams and rocks morphing into dreamlike forms and shapes.
Not Antelope Canyon, but one of the many other slot canyons that dot the Colorado Plateau in the American Southwest. I'm not sharing the location to protect this spot from over-crowding, but this was a pleasant area to photograph when I visited in 2018.
Working on a project and went back to some of my pictures I made in Antelope Canyon. Even after several years, this place just amazes me.
The Navajo guide I was with, a photographer also, told me those canyons taught him more about light, layers and textures than anything else he had ever photographed.
