God bless.
There is a moral dilemma in photographing those who sleep rough. Walking around the CBD of Sydney, they are in concrete abundance. Not to see them is not to see what is going on.
Yet there is a sharp power gradient here, a cliff of privilege and unacknowledged sheer luck that separates us the pedestrians from they, the dwellers and shelterers.
For street photographers not to tackle this social issue is to foster a blind spot. However, using individuals without their consent, photographically doxxing them is problematic.
I have taken identifiable photos of the homeless before, but it always felt a little dirty. Now I think it makes more sense both aesthetically and morally to anonymise, blur the boundaries, and capture images from a place of we/us.
Everyone knows how it ends.
But no one ever asked what came after.
Two old rivals meet again. Not to race. Not to win. Just to rest.
Maybe the finish line was never the point at all.

The issue with people passing #university with almost nothing but #ai does show us something interesting, and useful actually -
If you can pass with no effort, what was the point of the degree at all?
Couldn't you have done the job without the degree if you essentially learned nothing?
You paid to get a piece of paper that tells people you're allowed to do something. It's extortion, not an #education.
"Pay all this money, then maybe you can be a teacher,".
I enjoy the videos I've been seeing on #youtube of #maga men, and "alpha" types all slowly realizing they were lied to, and that women absolutely HATE them.
They admit they have been getting dumped, and failing with #dating but then still manage to blame #society and the women being wrong instead of the movement.
Can't really blame the gals.
I wouldn't want to be around an arrogant, loud, homophobic douchebag either.

Show yourself empathy. You are are a person too and your struggles are worth no less than that of anyone else's.

Is it possible that while we are fiercely opposed to #AI and how this highly disruptive technology is just introduced everywhere in #society without a second thought (ignoring all the voices that advocate responsible use) ..
Is it possible that maybe with decentralized #SocialWeb technology with semantically meaningful #machine-readable services, we are creating the tech that'll bring AI up to our skin, into our very pores?
Is social web merely #technology?
