Tutorial:Getting Started with Spreadsheets and Parametric Design.
Amongst the built in collection of FreeCAD workbenches, you may have noticed one for creating and working with spreadsheets. Whilst you could use this to track your expenses, let’s look at an example project where a spreadsheet is really useful!

Tutorial: Custom Toolbars
When you use any tool for a while you often build a more personal connection to it. Perhaps you have that old screwdriver in a drawer that’s become polished with years of use and fits your hand perfectly. In this tutorial we'll look at modifying existing toolbars and creating our own custom toolbars to personalise our #FreeCAD experience.

I am sifting through all of the #photos and #video #recording I did today and yesterday.

I did both regular video and slow motion, still and moving shots.

I dunno what I'm doing, I just thought it was fun.

I have a simple project with #music and #editing I am thinking through and going to try after some more #tutorials today.

I am doing everything on #android and would like some #recommendations from #mastadon and the #fediverse on #apps that are free or very inexpensive.

I am attempting to make a short #video about an #adventure I went on in #losangeles today. Longer than the #shorts I have been posting, but not a giant video essay.

I need a pack of quality #royaltyfree #music or a source where it's available openly, and for free.

I am watching tons of #tutorials on #editing and attempting some #narration too.

MY BRAIN IS EXPLODING YET STILL HUNGRY.

I NEED SOME #help AND #fedihelp is the best.

Thanks bunches of oats! O.o

"Ask not what the #fediverse can do for you, ask what can YOU DO for the fediverse!"

Well, this extends to the whole #foss #opensource ecosystem actually.

Sometimes we get the impression that if we cant' code we can't contribute .... not true. There are many ways you can help.

First of all be an advocate, help people out when they ask questions... be cool:)

Beyond that, does your favourite app not have proper docs #tutorials ? Does it need a UI facelift #design
or just #donate

working on a complete rewrite of my $hive blog export tool. (its a tool to download all your, or anyone elses, posts in a .md format)
previous version :

blokz.github.io/hive-downloade
if you want to try it out, plug in your #hive username or browse : personal.community/ for one to try (hint: click sn0n for my profile there)
and to be fun, not using AI or "#tutorials" / "#guides" on how to do the various bits & logic.

fun times tonight!!!

I wrote a better #medium #tutorial #article #parody of #python #programming #tutorials in which I hilariously misunderstood python to be a reference to #sbcl #commonLisp #lisp (heir to CMUCL python).

medium.com/@screwlisp/this-is-

I also address two fascinating medium trends I discovered.

1. The intense swapping-whispered-ghost-stories about lisp by scientist writers

2. Most articles named "Free Python Tutorial!" have no code, but links to purchasing training.

I eventually found "11 one-liners"
