I've been shooting a lot of infrared lately so this week here's another selection. This is a dead tree in Bedfords Park, north of #Romford.

Thrilled with the redscale images from the 'new to me' Horizon 202 panoramic camera. Yes, there was slight banding on some of the images, and others looked a little funny for redscale, but on the whole they were awesome.

We are back in St Andrew-by-the-Wardrobe for this #vertorama shot from the balcony. Not many churches let you up higher than the ground floor - this is a fabulous view.
I used a DIY 360 degree panorama mount on a tripod to hold an #Olympus EM1iii with a Laowa 7.5mm F2.

This is a 180 degree #vertorama of St Andrew-by-the-Wardrobe - a #ChristopherWren church in the city. It's so-called because its first structure was by the Royal Wardrobe - where in 1361 Edward III moved his store for clothes and armour.
That burned down in the Great Fire, Christopher #Wren built the replacement. That was bombed, but restored and reopened in 1961.

Out with the Kodak 3-A Folding Pocket camera: Some street art around Aveiro
My second outing with the Kodak 3-A Folding Pocket camera was just as much fun as the first test with this camera, but not as successful. From my expired film box in the cupboard I picked a roll of Lomography ISO 100 colour film, which expired in 2023.
Loading the camera was easier than the first time, I roughly know what I’m doing now. I stopped winding when I came across the ‘start’ arrow and closed the back. This time I wound forward for 20 half turns, which is the position that the Camerhack.it website suggests the film was in the right position for the first exposure. After each exposure I wound the film forward eight half turns to the next frame.
This time I headed to Aveiro to record some street art. There’s one excellent example near the railway station, and I discovered other on the other side of the city near the Yacht Club. Actually, I had intended to go to the Yacht Club but the area was being resurfaced and I couldn’t gain access.
As before, I left the shutter speed of the 3-A on 1/100 second and rated the film at its box speed of ISO 100. I used the app Camera Meter to judge the apertures I should be using, which for this exercise was between f16 and f22. With my four exposures in the bag I dropped my film off at the lab and within a few hours the zipped files dropped into my inbox.
Again the images were a little ‘thin’ to my mind. Having looked at the negatives from the first outing they actually looked fine, so I didn’t adjust the exposure, but I’m wondering if I should open the aperture by one stop above the meter reading to get a better exposure. I’ll check when I see the negatives.
Sadly, apart from my first image the framing of the subsequent images was quite poor, and I’m not sure why. Perhaps I didn’t have the viewfinder quite level. Also, the street art near the station was framed completely wrongly. I’m going to have to go back and do that again. Lastly, I only got three frames out of the roll, and I’m not sure why. It’s a bit fiddly to get to the shutter, and I reckon that perhaps I didn’t press the shutter lever properly.

Here's a handheld #vertorama of St Margaret's Westminster. It's in the grounds of Westminster Abbey, but if you say that you are going to St Margaret's the security let's you visit without an Abbey ticket.

1/5 Hull Minster
Hull Minster is very big, very old and very beautiful. You would think it was a cathedral, but is England's biggest parish church, and was only elevated to a minster in 2017.
The transepts date from c. 1300–20, the choir is estimated at 1340–70, the nave 1380–1420 and the tower 1490–1520.

Aurora, Edinburgh
Sometimes you just gotta sit on a bench beside the Observatory, eating fish & chips from a favoured chippy (Stefano's on Morningside Road) in a chilly -1ºC under light of a full moon whilst watching the remains of an aurora display as Orion rises.
Fuji X-H2, 8-16mm @ 10mm, a 3-frame vertorama processed in DxO, Hugin and LuminarAI.
Flagpole
Wasn't going to post this one, and when I edited it I cropped it a little bit to remove a stray couple of fingers that snuck in at the bottom. Seen on the boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach. Shot with the KMZ FT-2 on Kodak Plus-X (expired 1989, shot at box speed) and developed in HC-110 1:90 for 18 minutes, agitating every three minutes.

Previously unedited #vertorama from the City. Still getting to grips with Affinity Photo 2. Had a problem with linked raw files, but I think that was an issue with DNG's from Vuescan. I converted them with Adobe DNG converter and Photo 2 much happier and stable.
Messing with split toning and using Color Efex from Affinity Photo 2.
If I can find a simple DAM solution I might be able to ditch Adobe subscription...
