Keeley Forsyth - Debris

The rattling in my head from Keeley Forsyth

Melancholic musings, stories & life.
Wow this was a listen I felt glued to. I couldn’t pry myself away. Even after listening I felt the sound & arrangement stay in my head, no matter where I was, even now

The arrangement & this ‘cut back’ approach made it the more haunting to listen to in an addictive way. So much so I made the sounds of the instruments just because they swirled around so much.
A captivating gem of an album I randomly picked up on a whim, it called to me & glad I picked it up with no questions

🇫🇷 🇩🇪 Kompromat "Traum und Existenz" – 2019

The duo sculpts hard EBM pulses and saturated bass into stark, mantra-like vocals in German which shifts between chant, whisper and plea, giving the machine groove a disarming human edge. It is precise, physical, and quietly emotive, rewarding close listening as much as volume...

Fever Ray - Fever Ray

You will always be an inspiration to me Fever Ray

When this album came out in 2009, I had already been a fan of @theknife - so when Karin Dreijer released their solo album, I bought it straight away.
It is still a constant listen for me since then.
I’m never not without it!

The lush synths, the story telling, the journey that I feel my hand is held, showing me all the sights as we dance by.
Such an insanely great album I can’t speak any higher of, because I feel it wouldn’t be enough to how good it is & how much this album means to me.
Beautiful!

David Bowie - The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars

Too many other-worldly feelings from David Bowie

Not only one the greatest albums ever made, but such a fantastic trip of belonging, loneliness & music.
This rock opera holds everything of what makes music more than just listening to sound, but a pulse of feeling.
All too many times I find tears appearing listening to the lyrics, for my own self of belonging & acceptance

This album still to this day, has so much to give & for people to learn from, I feel it always will as long as we have expression of self
