@doot platypus! Some years ago on birdsite I made a twenty tweet thread of interesting platypus facts (some of the ”facts” I made up).
But like… They are venomous, mammals that lay eggs, can sense electric fields, they have duck bills but they are born with teeth… Likey they are SO HECKING WEIRD it’s just super fascinating.
