@neil @TangueraRhi It has groups, from what I've seen of the groups I would be interested in for work purposes, the only people who post on them are people advertising their wares, so I'm honestly not sure there's much point. TBH I think most of the social networks have lost their way - LinkedIn used to be about connecting with work people, not for running forums; FaceBook used to be about connecting with IRL friends/family, not for forums, etc.
Absolutely agree, gone are the good days on any of the old media platforms. I was just yesterday speaking to a very good friend I had met in the early days of Twitter, about how Mastodon instances offered up the same experience we had enjoyed at that time. She and I met and 10+ yrs later we are still gr8 friends. She also met her husband on early Twitter. #LI was my workplace it netted me some of the biggest and most valuable work contracts ever. I'm now retired.
