I have never liked Starmer, he always struck me as far too Establishment a figure to trust, not Labour at all. He's spent much of the last couple of years telling us more about what he *won't* do if he wins tham what he will do, he won't fight Brexit because he's desperate for Tory votes.
And now he praises Thatcher. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-67604830
Why is this man even in the Labour party, let alone leading it?
#Starmer is "leading" the Labour Party because money put him there.
For as long as I can remember, little cliques with access to loot have been putting their candidate at the top of the #Labour Party, so that any policy the membership decided democratically at Conference could just be dumped, in favour of what the money people want.
@Walrus Aye, saw piece in the Guardian recently about the amount of dark money behind funding his leadership. Democracy and clear accountability mean nothing to these people
I mean, why set up a new party, when they can buy their way to the top of one?
Well actually....
