@GnomeBones @Welshgrumpygit Thete was one in a neighbours garden, last summer, in the blazing sun….was wildly flying around the garden for quite a while….no idea why!!
@TheBeastOfBaglan @GnomeBones from what I've read, If they're out in the day it's usually either because their roost has been disturbed, or they are hungry/thirsty (especially if they have young to feed). This one also seemed significantly bigger than those I'm used to seeing flitting around at twilight
