Continuing my short(ish) today with a walk from , through to and back. A grey day with a strange combination of humidity and a cold breeze which was making the going hard for boats in the Channel

Looking towards "The Knap" from "Porthkerry" Beach. A pebble beach curves around in a semicircle. Backing the beach are steep cliffs covered in bushes and trees. Directly opposite, over a grey sea, a line of cars are parked at the bottom of the cliffs as they slope down to the houses and flats of The Knap.In the far right of the photo, the edge of the promontory of "Cold Knap Point" can be seen.
Decisions, decisions! A path through a deciduous wood forks into two routes. A multicoloured way-marker shows a multitude of routes, some pointing to the left, some to the right. (I took the Wales Coast Path, to the right)
Looking across Barry Harbour to Barry Island. Shallow water partially fills the harbour, Marshland gives way to sand as you look from left to right. Opposite and behind a sea wall, the houses and flats of Barry and Barry Island can be seen, and in amongst them, the rides of an amusement park
