Just been wandering around walking my hound in the rain. One obstacle to active travel that nobody talks about is the effect of curbside puddles. They seem to congregate near pedestrian crossing points. So can the various UK governments please ensure the pedestrian crossing on Roads are not surrounded by puddles, so you don't get drenched by cars, busses and lorries driving past.
It's not just a feature of my part of Wales as London was much worse when I was last there!

Worth noting that #autobesity means cars are wider than ever, and heavier and have fatter tyres.
Result: motorists are more likely to drive through puddles near the curb, and more water will be sprayed out when they do.
