@gomez What does an industrial process for collecting the cell lines look like? Do the starter cells need to be collected continually? Do they need to be embryonic stem cells? Or are they genetically manipulated to produce different components of meat; muscle, adipose, connective tissue?

It's not currently an industrial process as there is still a way to go to produce cultured meat outside a lab.
But current stem cells are collected by simple biopsy from a living animal, based on the type of meat you want to produce and then cultured in vitro.
The cells can be made to differentiate into muscle or fat etc by adding different factors into the culture media.
